BIO

Tower And Star is hi-fi, lush and layered indie rock that embraces serious spiritual subjects, emotional deep dives and mystic moments. But they revel in classic rock'n'roll elements, catchy pop melodies, ad danc-ey moments, too! What might be ontradictory elements mesh together and the result is what they call "Mystic Rock".

The band formed in 2016 playing quirky art rock and featuring duo female vocals, flute & sax, rehearsing in a half- constructed, dusty basement in Bushwick, Brooklyn and playing local spots. Since they began working with engineer & producer Tony Maimone in 2018, the music has evolved into rock that's lush, many layered & evocative, featuring various woodwind and Electronic Woodwind elements. Every track is a compact spiritual journey- songs that guide you through an emotional experience, a trip, or a subtle transmission that's accessible, "Come on in and take a deep dive with us! We'll hold you with our music, our voices, our energies."  The band's mission is giving their listeners a welcoming, true & transformative experience in a world that is often superficial. No judgment, here- that's just what they do.

The 3D stuff: The band's released eight singles & a three track mini album and dropped a new single, "Abuelo", this past June. All songs are collaborations among multi-instrumentalist Paul Alexandre Meurens, vocalist & lyricist Tanz Donovan and producer Tony Maimone. Their songs are happily engineered & mixed at their long-time home base, Studio G, Brooklyn.

The next single "Take Me To your Rock'n'Roll" drops this Fall; We'll best off to Rock'n'Roll stars together. See you there!
